
Wolfgang Staehle, who along with Roberto Cabot and myself videographed
Venezuela for the project, arrived at the exhibition site in ZKM Karlsruhe
from New York exhausted. With serious decibels and dust in the air,
we built Wolfgang a provisional place to crash. Like all attributes
and areas of our installation, something of a group autobiography emerges.
This is key to the reasoning for even installing an collaborative online
work in real life (RL) at all.

The 'oil' on the back wall is an 'installation shot' paintedon location
at a previous and related installation using palettes done for the special
exhibition 'Sculpture Cologne' Art Cologne 1998.
